Moggie's Story

Momma Moggie came to us in October with her SEVEN kittens that she had been raising under a porch. For the first 2 months, we weren’t sure if Moggie would ever take to humans and life as an indoor cat. Initially, she had no interest in being petted, instead spending all of her time caring for her babies or staring wistfully out the window. However, once her babies all went to their new homes, Moggie really opened up. First, she started playing with all her toys. Moggie then discovered catnip. She also began to understand how wonderful human pets are. Now, every night when her foster mom sits on the couch, she is quickly joined by Moggie. She enjoys chin scratches, cuddles, and belly rubs. Moggie also likes being picked up and laying on her foster mom's chest. Moggie's foster mom has watched her go from a grumpy gargoyle, glaring from the top perch of her cat tree, to a loving and purring companion that enjoys being in close proximity. Anyone who opens their home to her will have a quiet, attentive companion who continues to blossom and come into her own. We are not sure if she would do well with dogs, but would do well in a quiet home, perhaps with another feline. Moggie is approximately 5 year old.

Do you have the space in your heart to Moggie her forever home?
