Miss May Tortoiseshell Sterling, VA

Little May (or “May May”) is a beautiful tortie kitten who is 50% firecracker, 50% love bug, and 100% adorable. She’s rough-and-tumble from the moment she wakes up, ready to jump, play, stretch up your legs, or tackle her foster friend Maevis. She always runs over to visit as soon as she sees you, but is also a brave explorer who wants to see her surroundings and find anything she can play with (everything can be stalked, pounced, or carried). After play time, she is purrfectly happy to find a soft blanket, cozy bed, or a warm lap or chest to lay on (even better if she can snuggle under the blanket with you). May was found abandoned at a gas station and was even bottle fed for a while so she is definitely comfortable with people. In fact, she is the exact opposite of a stand-offish cat! May brings out Maevis’ social side, and Maevis is May’s favorite wrestling partner and a nice warm friend to curl up next to at nap time. So it would be nice if they went home together; since they are not bonded, it is not required but because of her age, she must have a young cat companion.
