Description: Update: Miranda just exposed her obsession for chasing laser dots. Who knew she had it in her? This old girl can still move like a young kitten once she sees the red dot. She bolts around and baps at it with her quick-acting paws. She must take rests to catch her breath but she’s eager to get back at it as soon as she’s no longer winded. Oh, what fun.

Miranda is a senior kitty who can be very sweet. Most of the time, she lounges the day away. People count steps but Miranda counts z’s; making sure she maxes them out for the day. She likes to be petted and she loves her wet food. Because Miranda is in her senior years, she likes her independence and not being messed with, particularly by kids, or she will make them respect her in not so friendly ways. Can you blame her? Her eyesight maybe starting to fail because sometimes we’ll catch her looking at something intently trying to figure out what it is. And if you approach her too fast she can get a little startled. Or maybe it’s her hearing? That’s just all part of her aging process. Miranda needs a home where she can laze the day away in peace and search for attention on her terms and to seek love when she’s feeling needy; a tranquil place to call home to live out the rest of her days.
