Meet Mia

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website."Hueneme Beach," fondly called "Mio" by her foster family, is a young, petite brown tabby girl found on the Port Hueneme promenade with her two 12-week-old kittens in November. All three of them were friendly but understandably a bit shy due to probably having been dumped out there by their former owner.

Once they were deemed healthy and had undergone their spay surgeries, mama "Mio" was placed in a separate foster home from her kittens, to have a chance to enjoy being the young kitty she is, and she is loving it!

"Mio" plays a lot when awake, she especially loves toy mice and scooting things around with her paw...including a candy cane she stole from the Christmas tree. When she's asleep, "Mio" prefers to find a quiet hiding place to take her cat naps, probably the result of her abandonment, and she does not currently like the adult kitties in her foster home and will hiss at them.

She is very affectionate with humans and likes to be carried around, and she makes the most adorable chirping sounds instead of normal meows most of the time.

If you would like to meet Mio or any of our adoptable kitties, submit an adoption application today!
