At just 10 months old and 9 pounds, this handsome brown tabby is right at that perfect age—past the tiny kitten stage but still full of playful energy and curiosity.<br/><br/>Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring his surroundings, or settling in for some well-earned attention, Melvin brings a steady mix of fun and affection. He’s neutered, medically up to date, and ready to find a home where he can keep growing into the wonderful companion he’s already proving to be.<br/><br/>Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
