Hello! My name is Melody and I am 3 years old. I am a pretty, young brown Tabby girl that has a whole life ahead of me!

I was adopted when I was a wee kitty but sadly, my adopted Mom left me at a kill shelter in Joliet. Thankfully, I have a chip in me and my TAR Angels were able to get me. Boy, did they drive fast to get me!

I am now in a foster home while I wait for my forever home. They say things happen for a reason. I was placed in my foster home to help another kitty. See, that kitty (my Best Friend) is really shy and I guess you can say I am not. My bubbly personality has actually help my Bestie Cora. I am teaching her so much so my foster family think it would be best we don't split up our friendship.

I am very social and I like it when people come visit. If they let me I will crawl on their shoulders and whisper in their ear. I whisper ..... purrrrrr purrrrr. Hee hee. I also will pat or caress your face and give you kisses. I might nibble on your chin. Maybe I am looking for crumbs.

During the day I love to sit on a Human's lap and will purrr the whole time. Look at my pictures. My eyes are closed - I look blissful. That's what I look like when I'm on your lap.

I am good with dogs, cats and kids. Would you like a playdate?
