Mel

Mel is an adorable little girl with a personality and a cute little half-mustache to match. We don't want to sound too biased but we think Mel is a very special kitten. She is incredibly people-oriented and would happily spend her days cuddled up in your arms, purring away.

She's also a playful little hunter who takes her job very seriously. Give her a puff ball and she'll proudly carry it around in her mouth, showing off her impressive hunting skills. When she's not busy hunting her toys, she's happy to curl up with her people or cuddle with her brother Huckleberry on the cat tree. She's great with other cats and dogs and has a sweet, easygoing nature.

If you're looking for a kitten who is affectionate, playful, and a little bit quirky in the best way, Mel is your girl. She and Huckleberry have a special bond and would make a wonderful pair, but wherever she goes, Mel is sure to bring plenty of purrs, personality, and her adorable little 'stache with her.

If you are interested, please apply on our website missdixieskittenrescue.org.

**All applicants must live within a reasonable driving distance of Bethel, CT (PA, NY, MA, NJ, MD). Our rescue and kitties are based in South Carolina but we have a wonderful transporter who will bring adopted kitties north on a monthly basis. More often than not, she can deliver them directly to your home.

*Miss Dixie's does NOT adopt single cats/kittens to homes without another kitten or cat already established in the home, unless otherwise noted.

*All Miss Dixie Kittens are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
