Meet Mee Maw
MeeMaw is a sweet cat, but she recently came out of a tough situation and is learning to trust again. She loves to get pets and scritches on her head and chin and chest, but maybe not as much anywhere else - except when she flops on the floor and asks for a belly rub. Her tail often poofs up when she is happy and being social. She is amazing at finding the highest perch in the room to sit on so she can feel safe - her foster family has found her in some really impressive places. Once she trusts you, she will come out to greet you from her latest hiding place and be chatty and look for attention - but she can get overstimulated easily, especially with new people or situations. She would find it extremely difficult to adjust to another cat or dog in the home. Calmness and patience will go a long way with this beautiful and sweet cat who just needs a safe place to exist in the world.
