Maxie Domestic Short Hair Manchester, NH

This beautiful senior, 10 year old, cat is Maxie. She was brought to the shelter after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Her favorite thing is her little hidey bed that you might not think she fits into, but she finds a way. Maxie loves to come out of her cage and explore and is very happy to receive pets and lots of attention. She enjoys open windows with fresh air and birds outside. However, Maxie does not like to be put back in her cage and does not like to be picked up. She can lash out some if her body and space are not respected how she would like them to be. For this reason, she will need a home without children.
Maxie does have some allergies that requires her to be on a special diet to prevent her from scratching.

Adoption Fee is based on age:
· Kittens ( 8 weeks through 7 months): $150
· Cats (8 months through 7 years old): $100
· Senior Cats (Over 8 years old): $50
· Senior for Seniors (Seniors 65+ adopting over 7 years): $25

The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter and procedure; Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip; and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional vaccinations and medical care (including kittens Rabies shots if adopted at under 12 weeks of age) will be the responsibility of the adopter.
