Hi there, my name is Max! I’m about 6 years old and my life has been really hard so far. I had a family once they think a very long time ago, but they left me outside. I spent years just trying to survive and that left me scared and in pretty rough shape. These nice people took me inside though, and it took months to fix me up but I’m completely healthy now. Shiny teeth, shiny fur, pain free, and happy! <br/><br/>I LOVE other cats. I love to talk to them, hang out with them, and especially play and wrestle with them! I love playing in general. Ball toys, catnip toys, anything I can get my paws on! Me and my buddies love to wrestle. They’re teaching me manners and not to play so hard. With dogs, I don’t really seem to mind them either as long as they give me my space! <br/><br/>As for people, nothing will make me your friend faster than snacks. I’m nervous with new people but I’ll run up to anybody with food! You can pet me while I’m eating, but when I’m not eating it still scares me too much. Partially from the horrible life I was living outside, and partially from all the vet visits I had to go to in order to get healthy from being outside so many years. I’m still worried when people reach for me that they’re going to hurt me sometimes, but I’m learning very quickly with the help of lots of treats!<br/><br/>I hope someone will give me a second chance. I have so much love to give and I promise I’ll be the bestest friend to your cats, and to you if you give me the time to warm up.
