Max's Story

Hi, I’m Max! I was born in April 2025, and I’m still learning how wonderful people can be, so I can be a bit shy at first. Once I feel comfortable, I love having my ears rubbed, my head scratched, and getting nice gentle pets. I’m still getting used to being held—my foster mom practices with me in short bursts, and I’m trying hard, but sometimes I get a little nervous and need to hop down. She says I’m making great progress!

I’m also proud to say I was the biggest boy in my litter! I adore playing with all kinds of toys, especially my scratcher and anything that rolls across the floor.

I was rescued on my foster mom’s rural property along with my four siblings. I was so hungry that I nearly ran right into the trap for that delicious food! I’ve grown up around other cats, but I haven’t had exposure to dogs or children yet. My life has been pretty quiet so far, so a very busy or noisy home might take me some time to adjust to—but with patience and kindness, I’ll get there.

If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and space for a shy-but-sweet boy to blossom, I could be the perfect companion for you. Max has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $125 and includes a coupon book from Petsmart and a gift bag from POPP.

If you're interested in giving Max a home, please complete our adoption questionnaire: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-feline/
