This big, beautiful gentleman is looking for a home worthy of his magnificent fur. Maui is a 3-year-old neutered male with a long, fluffy tuxedo coat, a snowy white chest mane, and the kind of green eyes that could stop you in your tracks.<br/>Maui came to us as a much-loved cat, and it shows. He may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new space — but we’re talking one day of hiding before he was out, rolling around, rubbing on everyone, and charming the whole room. Once he’s comfortable, his personality comes out in full force: social, outgoing, affectionate, and wonderfully playful.<br/>He’s lived happily with two other cats and has been around kids ages 7 and up. He loves being picked up (just be ready for an armful — he’s a big, sturdy boy!), is a good sport about brushing, and has impeccable litter box manners. Feather wands, laser pointers, jingle balls, milk cap toys, his cardboard scratcher, his cat tree, a sunny patch of floor — Maui is an enthusiast of it all.<br/>He does have an independent streak, which just means he’s confident, not clingy. His experience with dogs is unknown, so a dog-free home or a patient introduction would be best.<br/>Maui is the kind of cat who fills a room with warmth.
