Marlena

Marlena is about 9 months old, on the smaller side, insanely cute, and was friendly from the moment we met. She's an affectionate girl who loves getting pets, especially on both sides of her face. <br/><br/>We have complete conversations daily - she is super vocal and will respond if you meow back at her. Favorite spots include sitting in the window and getting a second drink from the sink. <br/><br/>We play with a couple of toys and catnip. When she's feeling very playful, she will lick and then lightly bite my fingers or pounce on my feet. I think she would benefit from having someone to play with who's not always away at work. She's a teenager with a medium energy level - not bouncing off the walls but not lethargic either. I've caught her twirling around and playing with an invisible friend.<br/><br/>Be careful when entering and exiting your home so she doesn't dart out - she prefers living indoors with a human but is recovering from living outside. She's very curious, watching everything I do... and sometimes finds a way to contribute! I was scrubbing the window sill where she likes to sit and during a pause, she got in there and scratched off some remaining dirt with her murder mittens. <br/><br/>Marlena is a wonderful kitten companion with a big fluffy tail and a lot to say.
