Marie's Story

Marie is one of the "twins" in this litter, being almost identical to her littermate and favorite playmate, Dutchess. Both love to wrestle with each other, and both love to be held by anyone. They are curious and like to explore their environment. Dutchess and Marie like to find small spaces to squeeze into and nap.
When their foster has visitors, the kittens warm right up to them and love to be held. Marie has recently discovered that she likes to arrange hair, so a career in hairdressing is a possibility.

The Aristocats were born in Chesterfield to a feral mama and immediately transferred to Old York Veterinary Hospital to be fostered for the first few weeks. After mama was spayed and released back to the horse farm where she lived, these babies were bottle fed for a couple of weeks and weaned by one of the vet techs until we had an available foster home.

Their current foster says that these kittens are very people oriented.

As are all Bordentown City Cats kittens, Marie will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and tested when she is spayed at 3 months. Pre-surgery adoption may be arranged under the right circumstances.

BCC recommends that kittens under 3 months be with other kittens or young active cats to learn kitten manners and appropriate behaviors.
