Meet Maple Syrup

Maple was 4 years old and 12 lbs. when he came to the shelter 4/22/23 as an owner-surrender. His owner has medical problems and could no longer care for his cat and dog, so we agreed to rehome them. Maple was originally found as a stray kitten when he weighed just 1 lb. After rescue, he became an indoor shop cat, living in the owner's workshop/garage until recently. The owner states that Maple likes to come get attention now and then for a few minutes, and then goes off and does his own thing. He is silly and likes to bat or box at toys or people. Maple Syrup is good-natured, affectionate and sweet.
