Meet Manecki Neko (Japanese Lucky Cat)

Manecki Neko is the Japanese Lucky Cat. Neco is indeed a lucky cat. She was rescued off the streets in Calexico not knowing when she would eat again and sleeping on the ground. People were very scary to her. Despite her scary beginning, Neko is just the sweetest. She is a very gentle soul. She is slowly learning that people are good and kind. She loves to be pet and given a little time, will be your best friend. She currently lives with other cats and seems to enjoy the company. After her first introduction to the resident cats in the foster home, she was grooming them and allowed them to groom her.

Neko would be happy as an only cat, or a friend to your cat. She will need a bit a time to adapt to new surroundings, but she is worth it. She really does have the sweetest nature. If you would like to meet Neko, please complete our questionnaire found on our website, southerncountiesrescue.org.
