Mama Moo's Story

Mama Moo may have started out life outside, but she has completely embraced the indoor life and she is loving it!

Born in May 2025, this sweet girl is affectionate, vocal, and wonderfully easygoing. She loves to stretch out and relax, happily soaking up all the attention she can get. She’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near her people and be part of the family.

Mama Moo is great with kids and other cats and would make a lovely companion. She has the cutest little black heart-shaped spot on her back, making her just as special on the outside as she is on the inside.

After being a mama herself, Mama Moo is ready for someone to spoil her. She’s finished raising her babies and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby.

Mama Moo is ready for her forever home!

Email us at halfwayhomecatrescueinc@gmail.com

Or you can apply at

https://tinyurl.com/HHCRIncADOPTIONapplication

We have an application and contract which must be approved prior to adoption. The adoption fee is $325 for a kitten and $300 for an adult cat over 2 years old. Receive a $50 discount when you adopt a pair! Adoption fee includes current veterinary care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for age, deworming, flea treatments and leukemia/FIV testing and microchip with registration. We require proof of home ownership or landlord approval prior to adoption. Our goal is to match kitties with the best home for them. In an effort to avoid Single Kitten Syndrome and provide kittens with the best chance for success, we strongly recommend that kittens under 6-months of age be adopted in pairs or to homes with another cat companion, especially if there aren't household members home regularly to enrich their days through attention and play. Single kittens will be approved for adoption on a case-by-case basis. Adoptions are held at the Rocky's in Ludlow MA select Saturdays, by appointment only! All animals at adoption clinics have up to date health certificates.
