Meet Magic

To learn more about this kitty, please email adopt@catsrusrescue.org or submit an adoption application online at https://catsrusrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application

Our girl Magic, 10 years young, is a gorgeous shiny black kitty that was adopted several years ago and found herself homeless. Luckily a foster became available so we are seeking a forever home for Magic this time around!

Her foster says: Magic is incredibly sweet. She loves affection! Once she feels comfortable with her surroundings she will easily melt in with her environment. She's fine with other cats that don't pester her too much. Magic doesn't really engage with other cats other than occasionally play chasing with them. I imagine she would be fine with kids as long as she is treated with care and respect. She loves cardboard boxes and enjoys jumping inside and using them for a scratching post.

Magic takes a 1/4 pill of Medrol every 3 days to prevent inflammation in her mouth from stomatitis. She had a full dental extraction in 2020, which is the recommended treatment for this condition. On the positive, an expensive dental cleaning is not in her future! She has no problem eating and got a clean bill of health at a recent vet visit.

All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat.

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. We do not have our own spay/neuter clinic so the adoption fee we charge helps our rescue pay for a portion of vet fees incurred to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.
