Meet Maevis
Sweet Maevis was an abandoned kitten, living in a McDonalds parking lot scrounging for food and sometimes eating gravel when there was none. She was initially afraid of people but she now greets you at the door when you enter, rubs on your leg, rolls over for pets, and enjoys laying on a warm lap to watch the latest Netflix shows. Maevis is still a little skittish at times, and may startle or keep a bit of distance if you approach too quickly, but she quickly changes her tune and can't wait for the petting session to start. :) Maevis loves a warm bed, and even better if she can curl up with another kitty after a wrestling match. She likes to chase stick toys and is up for rough-and-tumble playing. As a McDonald's alumna, Maevis thinks "you deserve a break today" -- and she could be just what you're looking for!
