Meet Maeve
Meet Maeve, a medium-length gray tabby with piercing gold eyes. She is approximately one years old.
Maeve was recently rescued from a hoarding home with 71 other cats where she couldn’t get the attention she needed and grew up wary of humans. In foster care, she has learned to trust her foster parents and now loves to receive all the attention she can get. Maeve is right there to greet you in the morning and loves to eat breakfast with company.
This fluffy girl is still shy but becoming braver everyday. She wants to be around people to observe what’s going on. When she’s comfortable, she’ll come to see you and rub her chin on every corner within reach. Her favorite things include wand toys and munching on cat grass. She also likes to spend her days bird and people watching out the window. Maeve loves treats and this will be a great way for her to bond with her new family.
What Maeve looking for in a home:
*She needs a kind and patient guide to help her adjust to her new home. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make her nervous.
*She is still learning to trust humans, so she needs an adopter who will take it slow to help her feel comfortable with new experiences.
*She’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
*She has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
*She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
*She needs to live indoors only.
*She has a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to her age. She would also likely be fine as a solo cat.
*She has a positive history with dogs and would likely do well living with a calm dog.
*She has no known history with children.
