Mae's Story

(français ci-dessous)

Meet Mae, a beautiful dilute tabby that was rescued from an unhealthy environment and brought to our shelter shortly before she gave birth to 6 beautiful, healthy kittens. When she’s not caring for her babies, Mae is affectionate and loves interacting with the volunteers. She purrs contentedly and laps up all the attention we’ll give her. She will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, friendly cat. Because she had such a difficult start to life, we’d like her to go to a home where she’ll be an indoor-only cat.

Mae has been vaccinated and will be taken to the vet to be spayed once her kittens are weaned. She will then be ready to go to her forever home.

If you’re interested in adopting this beautiful cat, please contact our cat adoption coordinator, Linda, at 819-868-2684 or email her at peacocklinda@rocketmail.com.

Would you like to help us care for Mae instead? If so, click the "Become a Sponsor" button to the right of her photos. That will take you to a page where you can donate any amount you like to help with Mae's care. 100% of the amount you donate will go to the shelter and we will be notified that you would like your donation to be used for Mae.

***************
