Meet Mabel! Mabel is a 7-year-old domestic shorthair who is spayed and medically up-to-date. Mabel is currently on a weight-loss journey, and we are monitoring her weight closely to ensure she's losing it slowly and safely. Mabel is also front-paw declawed, meaning she may require a softer litter (such as a corn litter) or pain management later in life to keep her feeling her best.<br/><br/>Mabel would do well in a quieter, slower-paced home. She enjoys the company of other cats. Mabel also tolerates small dogs, and would do better in a home with no children or older, cat savvy kids as she doesn't appreciate the rowdiness of younger children.<br/><br/>All in all, Mabel is a sweet and affectionate gal who just wants to settle down into her forever home. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
