Mabel's Story
Meet Mabel! Mabel is a 7-year-old domestic shorthair who is spayed and medically up-to-date. Mabel is currently on a weight-loss journey, and we are monitoring her weight closely to ensure she's losing it slowly and safely. Mabel is also front-paw declawed, meaning she may require a softer litter (such as a corn litter) or pain management later in life to keep her feeling her best.

Mabel would do well in a quieter, slower-paced home. She enjoys the company of other cats. Mabel also tolerates small dogs, and would do better in a home with no children or older, cat savvy kids as she doesn't appreciate the rowdiness of younger children.

All in all, Mabel is a sweet and affectionate gal who just wants to settle down into her forever home. Shed love nothing more than to sit next to (or on) her favorite people for cuddles, or spend hours getting brushed.

If you're looking for a friendly and calm companion, Mabel might be the perfect fit for you.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
