Luna is about 12 years old and was brought in to us through no fault of her own. She has managed to keep a glimmer of hope despite the loss of her family and the one place she called home. While she appears timid, Luna will rub up against our legs and share her soft purr after a few gentle pets.<br/><br/>Luna seeks affection from everyone she meets, and her gaze softens when she hears a kind voice. She loves scratching posts and cozy beds that hug her sides. She deeply misses having her own person, and we have been promising her they will come soon.<br/><br/>Luna would do best in a calm, quiet household, and she is used to being the only pet. However, she can share a space with other independent cats who keep to themselves. If you have a soft spot for special-need seniors, Luna may be the girl for you.<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes spay/neuter if five months or older, age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention.
