Ludo's Story

***Ludo is good with children, cats and dog, but he is totally happy to hog all your attention if you let him! He can be adopted as a solo kitty, or coexist with a friendly, chill cat who will let him have all the lap time.

Ludo is a sweet, friendly boy with a heart full of love. After developing corneal sequestrum, a condition Persians are prone to, his eye was saved with keratectomy. As it continues to heal, it will become slightly translucent, and he may occasionally need eye drops to keep it clean. He can be fussy but he is cooperative with getting eye drops and wearing his donut collar.

What truly makes Ludo special is his affectionate nature. He absolutely loves people and will happily seek out attention, asking for pets — especially on his head — his absolute favourite! He also has an adorable little quirk — Ludo gives gentle “love nibbles” when he wants attention. These soft, playful nips are his way of communicating and engaging with his humans.

While he enjoys playing with laser and feather toys from time to time, his biggest joy in life is simply being close to his humans and soaking up all the love he can get. An unoccupied lap will not remain so for long when Ludo is around!

Ludo is okay with other cats but would be just as happy as a solo companion, as long as he has plenty of human interaction and affection.

Would you like to make Ludo a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
