Meet Lucy! (Calico)
Lucy was rescued from the streets of the Bronx at 4-5 months old along with her sister Ethel
(also available for adoption).
Lucy is a bit shy and apprehensive around people and will take a while to warm up. She is less
interested in getting loved-up and is more interested in exploring the world around her. But,
when she feels like it (ever the diva), she will come to her human for affection and pets. Lucy's
adopter will have to love her for how she is: sweet, but not human-focused. But she has made
leaps and bounds of progress in the past 3 months with her foster so it's very possible that in the
right home and with enough time, she may grow to be a loving, affectionate member of your
family.
Lucy also enjoys playing with toys, LOVES food and goes crazy for Churu treats. She also gets
along well with other cats.
Lucy is looking for a family to love her for the quirky individual she is and to show her patience
and understanding and work with her to make her transition into her forever home as smooth as
possible. Adoption with her sister, Ethel is preferred, but single adoption is ok.

Meet Ethel! (Dilute Calico)
Ethel was rescued from the streets of the Bronx at 4-5 months old along with her sister, Lucy
(also for adoption).
Ethel warms up to people fairly quickly and is sweet and loves attention, she is more daring than
her sister. Although she is not a typical cuddle cat, she often asks to be pet and loved on. She
will even sleep on her human's bed with them.
Like her sister, Ethel enjoys playing with toys, LOVES food and goes crazy for Churu treats. She
also gets along well with other cats.
Ethel is looking for a family to love her for the quirky individual she is and to show her patience,
understanding and work with her to make her transition into her forever home as smooth as
possible. Adoption with her sister is preferred but a singular adoption is also ok
