Lovey's Story
This sweet young lady is aptly named ‘Lovey’. She lives up to her name with gentle headbutts and purrs that reach max volume! Lovey has finished her duties as ‘stay at home mom’ and would now like to venture out, seeking to be the queen of a household. Look at her fabulous markings - people have likened her to a Picasso painting, a true work of art, thanks to mother nature! She has perfect cat box habits, loves to lounge where she can watch nature, not a picky eater, warms up quickly to people and has lived with other cats and dogs.

We don’t have a lot of background on Lovey, other than a kind family took her in when they saw she was expecting yet another litter of kittens. The vet estimates her to be around 2 years old. She most likely did not have the best kittenhood, and maybe had to grow up fast. Because of this, Lovey is just now learning how to play - and having kittens has helped foster this. She’s looking for a family that can help show her how to have fun!

Lovey was recently diagnosed with FIV. We know that can sound scary, but FIV can only be passed through deep bite wounds, so as long as everyone in the home is friendly and getting along, your other cats would have nothing to worry about. Many cats with FIV live long, healthy lives.

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application
