Meet Loki

Male, DSH, approx 1.5 years old

Personality: friendly, outgoing

Meet Loki, the charismatic feline who is ready to charm his way into your heart! Loki is a smart, curious, and social cat who loves to be in the midst of the action. Loki loves head and chin scratches as well as being brushed. He is a smart cat and who needs stimulation and toys that will puzzle and challenge him. Loki loves playing IRL pong with you by batting a ping pong ball back at you when you bounce it his way. He also loves motorized toys that have a good amount of randomness. But above all he love love LOVES bird watching and definitely misses his ancestors days of hunting.

His favorite pastimes include people-watching, playing, lounging, and climbing to new heights. He's happiest in a house with a lot going on all the time. Loki likes to meet new people and is happy to be picked up and held. Overall, he is a true companion who will want to be wherever you are, following you around and adding a touch of feline fun to your life. If you're looking for a great cat, Loki is it!

If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a CAT: www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-a-city-kitty.html

City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is a foster based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDR&CK has a thorough adoption process in order to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDR&CK. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.

Cat specific: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines. They are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a negative mother in foster care.

Most cats and dogs will have a house training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
