Liza's Story

Liza is an approximately 8-month-old spayed female Domestic Shorthair with a big personality, endless energy, and an incredible story of resilience.

Liza came into the city shelter with a severe wound on the right side of her face and spent a whole month wearing a cone while she healed. Today, she is a happy, healthy, fearless kitten with a slightly lopsided smile and a whole lot of life to live!

Her foster family affectionately calls her Liza Bee because she is always busy buzzing around, making sure she knows exactly what everyone is doing—and, naturally, whether LIZA can be involved! Curious, confident, and incredibly friendly, she wants to be part of the action.

Liza loves wrestling with other cats, chasing string toys, zooming through tunnels, and enjoying multiple meals a day like a tiny hobbit. She is also a champion cuddler. The moment you settle onto the couch or climb into bed, you can pretty much count on Liza joining you for some quality snuggle time.

She knows her name and will come when you call her, too! Her foster family named her Liza because her big eyes and larger-than-life energy reminded them of Liza Minnelli. And true to her outgoing personality, Liza loves greeting everyone who walks through the door, whether they're old friends or brand-new acquaintances.

Because she is social, energetic, and loves being involved in everything, Liza would thrive in a busy household where she can have plenty of playtime, companionship, and opportunities to be her wonderfully busy self. She also enjoys the company of other cats and would love a feline friend who appreciates a good wrestling match.

Liza has been through a lot in her short life, and watching her blossom into the joyful kitten she is today has been incredibly rewarding. We hope her next family will love her just as much as we do—and give this special girl the happy ending she deserves.

If you're looking for a fearless, affectionate, endlessly entertaining little sidekick, Liza may be your girl!

TO INQUIRE: Fill out an application at https://tailstogether.my.site.com/application/
