Little Miss Suntan Domestic Short Hair Melrose, MA

Little Miss Suntan is a petite black girl, about two years old, who lost her home when the person who meant the world chose to move to a place where cats are not allowed. This sort of betrayal is very traumatic for cats, but, thanks to the patience and kindness of her fosters, she's learning to trust again. Like many cats, she's shy at first, but will respond to petting with a warm purr once her trust has been gained. At only six pounds, she's only about the size of an eight-month-old kitten, so she'll probably retain a kittenish appearance for life. Suntan seems to be frightened of other cats, so she would do best as the sole feline princess of her castle. She's also afraid of loud noises, so a quiet home would be right for her.

Suntan has been spayed, is negative for FIV and FeLV, and current on vaccinations. Her adopter will receive her medical records.

There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. She's being fostered in Boston.

In lieu of in-person adoptions, for the safety of all concerned, due to COVID 19, fosters are supplying short video clips of the cats to potential adopters and/or connecting via video app, and adopters are making their adoption decisions based on that. This has actually streamlined the adoption process and has been going very well.
