Meet Lisa
Lisa is a big girl that likes to hang in her cat box, and watch birds. She is fine with other cats but can be on her own as well.
Lisa lived in someone's yards where she gave birth to a litter of kittens. The kittens have been adopted and now it's her turn.
Unfortunately, Lisa had some traumatic experiences with people and her first reaction to you will be hiss-hiss-hiss. We never saw her be aggressive to anyone but she is clear on setting her own pace.
.
With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Lisa will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep her in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to her.
If that is something you would like to do please fill the Bashful Cat match https://forms.gle/fRm4snuyfnSBaVgR9
It will help determine if you and our bashful kitty will have a great life together. If you are a match we will ask that you complete the standard Survey as a next step
