Lionel Domestic Medium Hair Mix Grand Rapids, MI

Lionel was a neighborhood cat that became ill and one of the neighbors brought him to the shelter. The shelter thought he was old and wanted to euthanize him, so the neighbor decided to find him a rescue that would save him. We stepped in and took him to the vet and the vet said he was only three years old with a five-year period because he had a hard life of living outside (another reason not to have your cats outside!). He suffered greatly with malnutrition, unhealthy living conditions, and a very poor diet resulting in him contracting FIV, but he can still live a long and happy life with it!

Lionel has since been to the vet and he's starting to gain weight! We suggest no small children and someone who just wants a kitty cat to hang out with. He likes to hang out on the couch and have an occasional piece of donut with you and loves to snack on people food. He enjoys soft blankies and would enjoy a summer catio. He loves to bird watch and lounge on your lap, too!
