Meet Lilo
Check out little Lilo! This cute girl came to APA as a malnourished orphan; she was set up with a surrogate mother but just didn't take well. Shortly after arrival, her foster parents noticed she was having seizures. The seizures are pretty much under control and she has had only one in the past 6 weeks. Lilo is about seven months old, and is now a very good eater. Despite that, she only weighs about three pounds and will most likely be a “mini kitty” her entire life.
Lilo basically needs to be in a home with someone who can watch for any change and give her meds (very inexpensive) if she does have a seizure. A nurse or vet tech would be ideal.
Lilo is high-energy and loves playing with her foster sister Hazel. (We would love for them to be adopted together.) She is a quirky, sweet girl who will let you hold her once she knows you. She is a little shy and will probably do best in a home with older children. Lilo had a very rough start but is now ready to go to her forever home. If you think Lilo may be the one for you, please fill out an application; once approved, we'll put you in touch with her amazing fosters.
All APA cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV and Leukemia, and treated for whatever ailments may arise in their time with us.
