Leona [courtesy post]'s Story

Leona is an unusual ginger tabby queen born outdoors in mid-April. Bold, adventurous, and spirited from the start, she briefly became separated from her siblings before they were brought indoors. After a few weeks, Leona returned on her own, quickly re-socialized outdoors, and was later fixed and reunited with her littermates at four months old.

Leona is both confident and gentle, showing an affectionate, playful nature with people. She is extremely curious and loves exploring new spaces, toys, and textures. Leona is trained to a carrier, rides calmly in the car, and recognizes her name when called—traits that make her an easy and adaptable companion.

With her bright personality and natural fearlessness, Leona will thrive in a home that appreciates an adventurous kitten with a loving, inquisitive heart.

Consider adopting a pair of kittens, as a kitten with a buddy will improve their lives in the long run, while also making your life easier. Contrary to popular belief, two kittens are actually half the work of one!

Leona is spayed, microchipped, and has all her services up to date (rabies & fvrcp vaccines, and tested FELV/FIV), so she is ready for her forever home.

Leona's adoption will not be affiliated with SCFOA, but will go through her foster home directly. Please contact Martin, rubio_loco@usa.net, for more information and to schedule a meet n greet with Leona and her siblings.
