Meet Leo <br/><br/>Leo is a beautiful 5-year-old female with a soft Russian Blue/gray coat and a gentle spirit. <br/><br/>Leo's story is a tender one. She originally found her way into her owner's home as a tiny kitten-and from that moment on, she bonded deeply with one person. Sadly, her beloved owner has recently passed away. Now, Leo is facing a huge and confusing transition, losing the only home and human she has ever known.<br/><br/>Because of this, Leo is understandably shy, scared, and timid. She may run and hide at first, especially in a new environment. She has not been exposed to other cats and will need time and patience to adjust to any new surroundings or companions.<br/><br/>What Leo needs most is a calm, understanding home with someone who can give her the time and space to grieve, decompress, and slowly learn to trust again. A gentle, patient adopter-perhaps someone retired, home often, or experienced with shy or sensitive cats-would be ideal. A quieter household, possibly with one respectful child or no children, would help her feel safe.<br/><br/>Leo has so much love to give, but she will need someone willing to meet her where she is emotionally and help guide her into this next chapter of her life.
