Introducing Lenny

Lenny is a magnificent 4.5 year old long haired silver/taupe with white. His fur color is so unusual, we're honestly not quite sure how to describe it. One thing is for sure - he is gorgeous!

Lenny was originally adopted from MEOW when he was a kitten. A few years later, his family brought a puppy home, and this was a life changing event for Lenny. Terrified of the puppy/dog, he lived the last two years of his life living in a bedroom, under the bed most of the time. We're not sure what the introduction process was like, but one thing is for sure - Lenny was traumatized. He began having inappropriate urination episodes and was eventually returned to MEOW.

We and our vets have worked diligently with Lenny over the last eight months and we believe he is ready to begin his new life. When Lenny first arrived, he was timid and unapproachable. As we know, it takes time for a cat to recover from trauma. Very slowly, with behavior modification, Lenny has gained confidence and has become a shelter favorite!

Lenny eats Royal Canin Sensitive Digest, which agrees with his tummy and this should not be changed. Also, Lenny takes several anti-anxiety medications, which he eats like a champ in his food.

Lenny should be adopted by a cat savvy person and he will do best in a quiet home without children or other pets.
