Lancelot's Story
INTRODUCING...LANCELOT!

Lancelot is a 3-5 year old shaded silver tabby persian. He is fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc), just recently had a dental, and is ready for his forever home.

Lancelot is a people person. Meaning he adores people...other animals not so much. Lol. He will absolutely curl up beside you on the couch. Or climb into your lap for snuggles

Lancelot is small for a boy (initially, based on his size, I thought he was a girl oops!).

Lancelot was in pretty rough shape when he first came to us. We've found that he has some specific dietary needs: 1) no kibble, he gets Vital Essentials freeze dried raw instead 2) he loves canned food but one with pumpkin in it is best for his tummy.

Lancelot is also a bit picky about his bathroom. Lol. He wants a CLEAN litterbox. He would likely be an ideal candidate for an automatic box. Right now he is using the Breeze system.

Also, about grooming. Lancelot is good with eye cleaning and being combed down to his midsection - also about being medicated. Anything below the rubcage will require medication (gabapentin). We've been working on desentizing Lancelot to being groomed...with limited success. It's been easiest, frankly, to keep his underside & tushie shaved down.

I know this sounds like a lot. Lol. But that's a persian for you! And at least you'll know what is needed upfront!! And none of it is really too much!

Adoption fee - $450.

If you are interested in adopting Lancelot, please submit an adoption application through our website at www.stxpr.org. If you have already applied, please forward your application to us at stxpersianrescue@gmail.com and express interest.

NOTE: We do not ship or transport our cats. All adopters must travel to San Antonio, to the foster home, to pick up their cat(s) in person.
