PLEASE NOTE -Sunny Sky’s Rescue is open to preapproved applicants for our dogs and cats on Wednesdays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Although our shelter will once again be open we are still following Covid-19 precautions. All visitors are asked to wear a facemask and observe social distancing. In order to have a meet and greet a preapproved application is required.*

We are still making changes to our application process and at this time we are only allowing pre-approved applicants to have formal meet and greets with the pets available for adoption. We strongly recommend visitors fill out the adoption application prior to visiting.

Kitty Kitty is a little miracle! And an absolute Survivor with a capital S! She was brought to the shelter in absolutely the worst condition for a tiny kitten! She was so skinny, malnourished, had a polyp, respiratory issues, and covered with fleas!
And yet she would cuddle in your arms in the sweetest way! Our absolutely amazing Veterinary staff worked diligently to care for Kitty Kitty. The noncancerous polyp was removed, the respiratory issues were treated, and she was given a balanced kitten diet. And now, minus the Fleas, she is the sweetest of little kittens! It's hard to imagine how terrible she felt or how someone could leave her like that. But now sweet little Kitty Kitty, with lots of TLC from our volunteers and staff, is a picture of happiness. Kitty Kitty would do best in a home without dogs. She is a sweet little sparkling black kitten waiting for a loving forever home! Her DOB is 9/22/20.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $159 includes neuter, Microchip, pyrantel deworming, Frontline flea treatment, testing for feline leukemia/FIV, and appropriate vaccinations(excluding rabies).

Our adoption process has changed during this time and we will be processing applications before having potential adopters meet the animals, this way we will be able to match families with their forever pets. You will have an opportunity on the application to let us know what type of pet you are looking for.

Although you cannot request a specific dog or cat the preapproval will give you access to a meet and greet with the group of dogs or cats your application matches you with. This is the first step at finding your special new family member! Please note preapproval applications are online only – there are no paper applications available on site.
