Kittens - adopted as pairs only's Story
These beautiful kittens came to us at 2.5 weeks old after their mother got out & returned with a broken spine & injuries she could not overcome. They were bottle fed every 2 hours & lovingly cared for in a foster home until they were 8 weeks old. They are now 10 weeks old. There were originally 6 & the foster kept 2 of them. They are happy, healthy & social kittens but are very bonded & not used to being home alone for hours at a time so need homes where they will not be lonely. They will go home as pairs only.
They have been to the vet for their first shots, wormer & flea treatment & will return next week for their second set of shots as well as an FIV/FELV test, a boost on the wormer & treatment & then will be ready for their new homes.
The adoption fee will include their spay or neuter at our vet at the Yarmouth Vet Center when they are 5 months of age as well as getting their rabies shot & microchip at that time thus the high adoption fee of 250. each kitten. If you were to cover these costs on your own they would be much higher so it is a bargain. We are not trying to make money we are trying to place the kittens in the best possible homes.
We are happy to send you an application & will be taking applications for them for the next 2 weeks until their 2nd vet appointment is complete. Apply early as applications are vetted in order.
If you are selected we will notify you to come to meet them before picking them up.
The black kitten is a female & her name is "Noir."
The brown/multi tabby with a spotted belly is a boy & his name is "Biggie."
The light gray tiger is a girl & her name is "Tater."
The darker gray tiger is a boy & his name is "Waffles."
The kittens were a family project so each family member chose a name.
As stated they are very bonded & must go as pairs. Not single adoptions...sorry!
They are good with older children & have been around friendly dogs but your dog needs to be used to cats, trustworthy & friendly & not left alone with the kittens without being contained.
