We learned she previously had an owner who ultimately made the decision to surrender her, giving Kirah a chance to start fresh and find the right fit for her golden years.<br/><br/>Her former owner shared that Kirah became overwhelmed in a busy household with multiple children. Because of that, we believe she would thrive in a quieter home where she can relax, feel secure, and enjoy life at her own pace.<br/><br/>Kirah is a sweet, talkative girl who enjoys companionship and isn't shy about telling you what's on her mind. She loves having her people nearby, but being a mature lady, she also appreciates her personal space and will let you know when she's ready for some quiet time.<br/><br/>She's still a little protective of her food, likely because of the hardships she's recently experienced.
