Meet Kimberly
Say MEOW to Kimberly. She is a beautiful sweetheart of a kitten, 9-10 weeks old (as of 10/24/22). Cuddly, playful, chill, loves toys, runs throughout the house, and watching out the window. Good with dogs and cats.
She was turned into the shelter in Orangeburg Co as a stray. Thank you Jane with For the Love of a Paw for getting her to a vet to be checked out and then transporting her to us. Her right front leg has nerve damage and muscle wasting, therefore, she cannot use it. The leg does not cause any pain. Vet said that it may heal. Her foster mom massages it several times a day to strengthen the muscles just in case. Even if use of the leg does not come back, amputation is not needed. She gets along just fine. Kimberly is perfect just as she is!
If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $165. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
