Hello, my name is Keki! Last May, some children found me in their soccer field at school. At 6 weeks old, I had a broken leg, and the vet said I would have to have my leg amputated. It could have gotten infected & I could have died! But I was too small for surgery at that time. It hurt a lot. I had baby pain medicine and antibiotics for a few months. With lots of specialized vet care and love, my fractures healed & the vet says I get to keep my leg! Thank goodness!

Some other kittens came into my foster home & they became my good friends & play buddies. Now they all have their forever homes, but I do not. I love to be cuddled. I like to suckle for comfort and be in your lap or up near your neck, where I purr and make biscuits.

I can run and jump, but I must live with someone who understands not to drop me from high spaces because my left ankle is fused and my leg will develop arthritis at a young age. I must go to a home where the human or humans love me and understand my special but easy needs for my leg- such as I must not be allowed to get fat, because that will make my arthritis worse.

I am sassy teenager now, but I'll probably be petite my whole life from all the stress I had as a baby. I have grown up with a great Pyrenees dog for a friend but I'm not so sure about him sometimes. There's multiple big cats in my foster home and since my foster kitten pals have left, I have decided I am The Diva, and I don't like the other cats very much, but I do tolerate them. I am a dainty little girl but strong and lively. I hope to find that special someone or family who will love me and respect my special needs. Oh yes, and allow me to be The Diva!
