Katie from the Future's Story

Katie From The Future has arrived… and according to her calculations, your couch is exactly where she belongs. This beautiful 3.5-year-old silver tabby is spayed, medically up to date, and four-paw declawed.

Katie brings a quiet, mysterious energy wherever she goes. She's the kind of cat who prefers to observe the timeline before fully committing—she can be shy at first and likes a slower introduction to new people and places. But once she decides you’re trustworthy? You may gain access to premium feline companionship.

Katie has lived around small dogs before, so a respectful canine roommate may be possible. She hasn’t spent time with other cats, so she’d likely prefer to be your one-and-only star scientist unless carefully introduced. Older, cat-savvy kids who understand that friendship cannot be rushed would be the best fit for her.

Katie is currently on anxiety medication, though there’s a good chance she may not need it in a calm, low-stress home where she can relax and focus on important matters—like napping in sunbeams and silently judging your life choices.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a touch of mystery, Katie From The Future predicts that you should come meet her soon.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
