Kaa *In Foster*

Kaa is currently our longest-resident cat at the shelter. He has been adopted from us and then returned not once, but twice - it's not that he's a bad guy, it's just that has had some bad luck. He was initially surrendered to Big Lake Humane Society because his owner went to prison.<br/><br/>Then, his first adopters were impatient to let him come out of his shell on his own time, and gave him less than 24 hours before they decided he wasn't warming up to them well enough. The next time he was brought into a home, his owner unfortunately became homeless just a couple months after the adoption.<br/><br/>Now he has returned to the shelter once again after his months-long stay with a foster who loves him, but will be out of town for a while.<br/><br/>Ideally, whoever adopts Kaa next will be the last time he is ever relocated. The adopter should be patient with earning his trust and affection. He is a friendly cat, but he will probably need a couple weeks to warm up to his new environment. Once he finds the perfect home, he will make the perfect cat companion.
