June and Bug's Story

June and Bug are two bonded besties ready to find their forever home. June (2 years) and Bug (1 year) are dilute calicos found on the same street in Bed-Stuy, so these girls are very likely related! They have really bonded in their foster home and want to share their cuddly selves with you.

Bug is the cuddliest lil cat that ever was. Long day at work? She knows and she will sit in your lap as long as you need. The key to her constant purring heart? Your love, attention, and go-go squeeze pouch lids. Nothing brings her joy quite like those caps! She is shy around strangers but opens up quickly with treats and a lil space. Soon she’ll be barking your guests up for treats and dinner like they’re old pals.

While Bug’s world is playing and food, June’s world is Bug - she dotes on her best friend and at all times wants to be near her and playing with her. June spent much of her first two years of her life in a hoarding situation, only to be abandoned by her owner after a series of unwanted pregnancies. That’s right, at only two years old, June has already had multiple litters of kittens, though you would never know it from her youthful, kittenish appearance. (Also, those cheek bones?? Did she get buccal fat removal??). While her friendship with Bug continues to improve her confidence, June is still skittish from the trauma of being abandoned, and will need a family that is patient and gentle with her. As she warms up, she will seek every opportunity just to be near you. This is her greatest expression of love.

June and Bug love to cuddle and groom and must be adopted together. They would likely thrive with other cats though we don’t know how they feel about dogs! These sweet, curious kittens deserve the world, and we hope they find a home where they can thrive. June and Bug are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, have been treated for fleas and parasites and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.If you're ready for these adorable girls, please welcome June and Bug into your heart and home!
