Jolene's Story

Meet Jolene - The Elegant Little Explorer

One of 3 girls in the 'Coat of Many Colors' litter, her beauty is truly beyond compare. With her unique tortie patches, white markings, and bright eyes, she is a true lady with a multi-layered personality.

Jolene is the most independent and curious explorer of her litter. She loves to spend her afternoons perched by the window, birdwatching and keeping tabs on the outside world when she isn't rumbling around the room at group playtime. She enjoys affection and absolutely loves head pets, but she prefers to seek out attention on her own terms. When she is ready for love, her purr is soft like summer rain.

Jolene turns into a cuddle bug whenever naptime rolls around. She will chirp and nuzzle her head into your hand for some good chin scritches. She also loves to seek out her littermates for a group snooze, and she has a very special soft spot for her favorite cuddle buddy, Banjo. Jolene would need to be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home with another playful cat. She would do well in a variety of homes.

Jolene is estimated to be about 4 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, vaccinated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Jolene is dreaming of a house with a great window view for birdwatching, and plenty of cozy spots to curl up with a friend- apply today!

Trash Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Typically the potential adopter reaches out either with or without a specific cat in mind. We will usually ask questions about the type of cat the adopter is interested in (any preferences as far as gender, color, personality, etc.), as well as the sort of home the cat would be going to (any kids, other pets, etc.). If we have a cat or kitten who would be a good fit, the adopter can fill out our application for that animal. If not, the person can still fill out the app, and we will keep them if mind if we end up with a cat who we think would be a good fit. Once the app is reviewed/approved (including checking vet and landlord references), we would chat any further with the adopter if needed, and then schedule a meet and greet with them with the cat or kitten. If the animal and the adopter hit it off, the adopter would then fill out our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and take the cat or kitten home!
