Jewels is a 3-year-old black-and-white girl with a big personality and very strong opinions! This independent lady isnt the type to greet everyone with a purr and a head bump—she prefers her space and isnt particularly interested in being friends with people.<br/><br/>Jewels has lived with other cats and would likely do best in a home where she can have plenty of independence and be appreciated for the cat she is. Shed also be a great candidate for life as a farm cat, where she can have space to roam and do her own thing.<br/><br/>Jewels does have chronic weepy eyes, but that doesnt slow her down one bit. She may not be your typical cuddly cat, but shes got plenty of personality and knows exactly what she wants!<br/>Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! <br/><br/>Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
