Meet Janie
Janie's life has been tough. She was brought to animal control very pregnant. She nursed her babies, which were then handed off to a rescue. She was given a litter of orphaned kittens to feed. She took them in and treated them like her own. They were then handed off to a rescue. Both rescues left Janie behind. She was VERY scared at the shelter and scheduled for euthanasia. On the day of euthanasia, a shelter volunteer begged us for help. We literally saved her life by just seconds.
In addition to being so scared, Janie had a painfully infected, ulcerated eye. With help from our amazing veterinarian, Janie's eye was able to be saved. She's had several surgeries and months of meds but she can see! Her eye is cloudy (comparable to looking out a dirty window), but is no longer painful and Janie is ready to leave a crappy life behind and find someone to love her.
Janie is about 3=4 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, Feline leukemia negative/Feline AIDS negative, and current on flea/tick preventative. She needs an adult home, but would be fine with another cat.
