Meet Ducky and Ivy!<br/><br/>Ducky and Ivy are a fun-loving and affectionate bonded pair that will make your house feel like a home! Ivy is very interested in always being near you and receiving and giving love. The definition of a lap cat! She doesn't really prescribe to the idea of privacy and will follow you to the bathroom. Ducky also loves pets when she's in the mood but can also be more independent. Fun fact: Ducky loves a face massage and face scritches.<br/><br/>They came into our care when they were unable to stay in their previous home. After a stay in a foster home so Ducky could receive and then recover from a dental surgery, they are now looking to find a new home together. They like to spend time together showing social behaviors such as playing, grooming and sleeping together. They will also spend some time independently as well, enjoying interactive play with their people or sleeping on their own. They enjoy playing with rolling balls and wand toys. Their play style is pretty rough and tumble and they love to chase each other around, so having enough room to accommodate these activities will help keep them happy and engaged. Ivy can be especially enthusiastic at meal time, so providing separate food stations or separating to eat will make sure she can maintain a healthy waistline, and that Ducky has enough opportunity to eat her full portion. <br/><br/>Cats: Ducky and Ivy have no known experience living with other cats.<br/>Dogs: Ducky and Ivy have previously displayed stress behaviors related to living with dogs. They are looking for a home without dogs or with quiet, respectful (not too curious) cat-savvy dogs.<br/>Children: Ducky and Ivy have previously lived with children and have done well.
