Meet Ivy
Ivy came to us from an animal control officer. She had a litter of four kittens who she took care of marvelously. All her babies have been adopted now, so it’s Ivy’s time to get a forever home. Ivy is very skittish and will need to be worked with quite a bit. She has the potential to be a great cat in a quiet adult only home. We do need experienced adopters for Ivy as she does need work to bring her around socially. Ivy should be a great kitty if somebody can work with her. These type of cats tend to bond with one person , as I have had a few. Ivy might also be a good option for a barn kitty if introduced properly. There would need to be at tack room or enclosed room within the barn that she could live in for 6 to 8 weeks until she becomes aware of her surroundings. After that time she could be released and she would live in and out of the barn the rest of her life. We would need you to provide food, water, and vet visits as usual. If you are interested in Ivy, please go to GwenLin.org to fill out our application. If you have questions, please call Sandy at 860-634-1427.
