Ivy-4/10/24 Tortoiseshell Lambertville, NJ

Meet IVY, a 1 year old sweet little fireplug of a tortoiseshell cat. She is friendly to older humans, but would do best in a child-free household. IVY is a cat's cat, if you are looking for a BFF for your cat, IVY is your gal. She is not people social, but will sit on the sofa with you. She purrs when petted (especially around mealtime) and her foster mother has never met a cat who enjoys other cats this much. She follows both of my older, male cats around and loves being near them. IVY visibly relaxes when another cat is in the room.

In fact, IVY needs to live with at least one other cat. She is afraid of dogs, so a dog-free home is a must. IVY is so pretty and has great energy bigger than her small size. She also enjoys playing with small mouse toys on her own or playing with a fishing pole-style toy with a trusted human.

IVY needs a patient person to let her continue coming out of her shell. Although she is friendly to humans, she may need time to adjust to a new environment and build trust with her new owner. If you are looking for a companion for your cat and are willing to provide Ivy with a loving home, she might be the perfect addition to your family.

IVY has black & yellow tortoiseshell coloring and is spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Animal Alliance has many cats and kittens for adoption. Animal Alliance does have some cats and kittens in foster care and living in-house at PetSmart in Flemington, so not all are housed at our Lambertville adoption center.
